Town of Cambridge Local Planning Strategy

The project team is edging closer towards stakeholder engagement, with the Background Analysis Report to be complete in January and a series of community and stakeholder events to be undertaken in March. The Local Planning Strategy is a fantastic opportunity to coordinate the excellent work of the Town of Cambridge over the past few years, particularly with respect to infill housing and development of key activity centres.

City of Nedlands Local Planning Strategy and Local Planning Scheme

Team Nedlands has achieved a major milestone to cap off 2016, with the submission of the draft Local Planning Scheme No. 3 to the City of Nedlands Council in mid December. This is a huge achievement, as given the last Scheme was adopted in 1985, the new Scheme is 31 years in the making. Well done to the City’s strategic planning team, and we look forward to engagement with stakeholders and the broader community in 2017.

North Subiaco Structure Plan

The North Subiaco Structure Plan has achieved several milestones in the last 3 months, with the Council granting consent to advertise and the project team hosting a series of community open days at the Subiaco Farmers Market and Perth Modern School. The events were well attended, with City officers and TBB staff gaining a large amount of input from local community members eager to see their shared vision for the local area achieved. The structure plan will be presented to the City of Subiaco Council early in the new year prior to being submitted to the Western Australian Planning Commission for final adoption.
