TBB has partnered as planners and land tenure advisors for a hydrogen project with a consortium of leading businesses aiming to invest about $10 billion in hydrogen and ammonia plants across the State.
A team led by Rachel Chapman and including Trent Will and Monique Thompson has been appointed by Progressive Green Solutions, Korea Midland Power Co., Ltd. and Samsung C&T Corporation who have formed a consortium and are aiming to invest about $10 billion in hydrogen and ammonia plants with capacity of 1 million tonnes per year.
We were privileged to be invited to the signing ceremony at Frasers in Kings Park with DevelopmentWA, Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation and Shane Van Styn (Mayor of the City of Greater Geraldton) to commemorate securing the first site in Narngulu. The project, also known as Western Giga Energy, includes wind and solar farms able to produce 3 gigawatts of renewable energy to run the hydrogen electrolyser.
TBB is thrilled to be a partner with the consortium, alongside Future Smart Strategies, for this project in the City of Greater Geraldton, and future sites.
Our team have worked on a number of renewable projects to date and this latest project represents another great opportunity to help shape renewable energy development in our state. It has also led to more work in the Northern Territory for a Photovoltaic Solar Farm for the client within Larrakia Country as part of establishing a sustainable future.
