Draftsperson or Senior Draftsperson

Are you inspired by working on projects that will one day become places where communities prosper and thrive?

We are seeking a highly motivated Draftsperson or Senior Draftsperson with comprehensive cartographic and illustrative drafting experience to work on varied and exciting planning and urban design projects.

You will be responsible for working collaboratively with our planners to deliver drafted output such as maps, plans, diagrams and visualisations within a specified budget and timeframe, and at a high presentation standard. Our design and drafting team work collaboratively with our planners to produce graphics, plans, diagrams, and visualizations that are accurate, engaging, and contemporary. Our projects include some of WA’s major developments and communities.

About you: 

  • High attention to detail. 
  • Excellent ability to communicate and collaborate effectively. 
  • Two or three years’ minimum experience in a similar senior role. 
  • Self-motivated with excellent time and task management skills and an ability to work well under pressure and prioritise your workload to manage competing demands and deadlines. 
  • An appropriate drafting qualification either at vocational or tertiary level and/or considerable work experience that includes a significant component of drafting in relevant disciplines such as town planning, landscape, architecture, cartography. 
  • Experience in the preparation of Town Planning and Urban Design plans and graphics, particularly plans associated with the structure planning and subdivision of land. 
  • Ability to interpret and manage data from a variety of sources and disciplines, including surveying, engineering, environmental, landscaping, and architecture. 
  • Demonstrated extensive experience specifically in the operation of the Bentley Microstation or AutoCAD software tools. 
  • Experience using the Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to prepare plans and graphics.  
  • Experience using 3D modelling and Geographic Information System software is highly desirable. 
  • Experience in the preparation of Architecture or Landscape Architecture plans and graphics will be highly regarded. 
  • Experience in the preparation of illustrations, including hand drawing, and an understanding of graphic design principles will also be highly regarded.

People and Culture Officer

This is an exciting part-time role for a change-making individual who passionate about people and workplace culture and has generalist HR experience.

This role offers the opportunity to get involved in a range of people and culture related initiatives and business improvement projects. You will be working directly with members of our executive team to drive our people and culture agenda across the team as well as supporting the administrative functions of HR.

  • HR qualifications
  • At least 3 years in People and Culture related role
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Powerpoint and Excel
