James brings a decade of experience in town planning across both Western Australia and New South Wales, having spent the last eight years in Sydney. Prior to joining TBB, James worked at the NSW Department of Planning and as a private consultant, focusing on built-form applications, including single residential developments, schools, and large-scale senior housing projects.
James holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning with Honours from Curtin University and a Graduate Certificate in Property Development from the University of Technology Sydney.
Originally from Perth, James has recently returned after his time in Sydney to be closer to family. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his young family, playing golf, and watching sports.
