Jillian is passionate about planning because it offers such a diverse range of opportunities and challenges. At its core, she loves how planning can transform cities into vibrant and amazing places to live.
Jillian joined TBB as a Planning Assistant, the first Intern under the new Early Careers Program, before being promoted to a Consultant. She has an Engineering background and is pursuing her Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning.
Her journey began in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. She attended university in Atlanta, Georgia before relocating to Australia in 2010. She has lived in Sydney and Newcastle, NSW, before settling in Perth in 2016, drawn by the beautiful weather and vibrant lifestyle.
Outside of work, Jillian is an avid motorbike enthusiast, working towards her full license. She enjoys spending weekends exploring beach-side cafés with her husband on her Yamaha MT-03, fondly named Obi-Wan Kenobi—a nod to her love for Star Wars.
