Katherine loves being a planner because she can influence, and have a connection with, the community.
Katherine provides her clients with a strategic understanding of how land can be best used and developed. She also guides them through the planning processes required to achieve those proposals.
After completing a Bachelor of Science (Urban and Regional Planning) at UWA, Katherine joined TBB in 2010. She is an accredited IAP2 practitioner and member of PIA.
Katherine’s first project as a planner was Port Coogee, which continues to be one of her major projects today. Like many of the projects that Katherine is involved in, Port Coogee has taken years to come to fruition, with attention now focusing on the marina village. It is the tangible outcomes like seeing this unique masterplanned project become a real community that makes Katherine love the work she does.
By placing community engagement at the forefront of urban design and planning, we can provide an opportunity for people to have an influence on places and the community they value.
