Lex has been a planner for over 40 years and he remains as motivated today, as he was when he started, to make a difference in our communities.
A multi-disciplinary team leader, Lex spends much of his time advocating for clients in negotiation with Government authorities. With so much experience under his belt, Lex is highly appreciated by his clients for his insightful strategic advice on statutory and strategic planning.
Lex joined TBB 25 years ago and became a Partner in 1997. In July 2023 Lex took a step back from the partnership into the role of Practice Fellow.
Lex studied at the WA Institute of Technology and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Regional Studies and a Grad Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning. He is a Fellow of the Planning institute of Australia, and sits on the PIA WA Divisional Committee. He also sits on the National Board of UDIA’s Envirodevelopment.
Lex is immensely proud of so many iconic projects that he has had a hand in, foremost among them the Port Coogee project, having personally authored the original Metropolitan Region Scheme amendment report that kick-started the project. 23 years later and he remains the lead planner on this project.
I help my clients achieve outcomes that contribute to the creation and growth of sustainable and liveable places.
