Rachel loves working alongside her clients to see a vision come to reality.
With 28 years in statutory and strategic planning, Rachel knows the pathway to implementing a proposal. This includes making contact with key stakeholders, identifying issues upfront, devising a project planning approvals strategy and managing it from start to finish.
Rachel has been with TBB since 2007. Prior to this she worked in state government roles. Rachel has post graduate qualifications in planning from Curtin University after initially obtaining a Bachelor degree in Geography & Anthropology. Rachel is a deputy presiding member on the Metro Inner South JDAP, a member of the UDIA land use planning committee and also sits on the WAPC’s Executive Finance and Property Committee.
In addition to her land development and built form expertise in the metropolitan area, Rachel has worked extensively in the Pilbara and Kimberley regions, including assisting on native title negotiations for the State, working directly with Aboriginal communities in the planning of remote communities, as well as townsite growth planning. One of these regional projects, the Wickham townsite expansion project for Rio Tinto alongside the City of Karratha, remains one of the projects she’s most proud of being involved with.
I provide strategic advice that helps to turn complex statutory planning issues into projects that go on to successful implementation.
