A passionate urbanist with broad experience across urban design, planning and sustainable development, Simon loves that his job provides him the privilege of shaping Perth for the better, every day.
Simon is a strategic thinker who helps his clients solve problems and work collaboratively towards innovative solutions. He joined TBB in 2013, and has over 12 years of urban design and planning experience.
After completing a Bachelor of Arts in Sustainable Development Simon undertook a Masters of Urban Design from Oxford Brookes (UK). He is an active member of the urban development community in Perth, having sat on various committees over the years including a current position on the Urban Design Forum WA Committee.
Simon was born in Sydney and raised in Perth, with stints working in London and Oxford. He is a keen traveler but a Perth boy at heart, at his happiest when out surfing off the south west coast of WA.
In his formative years Simon was involved in the design of UK’s first zero carbon community, Hannam Hall in Bristol. More recently, his interests have turned to the next evolution of sustainability: Regenerative Development.
Urban design shapes communities. Communities embed values. Values determine our future.
