The Goal

The Neerabup Industrial Area is the most significant new industrial estate in the North West Corridor, comprising over 1000ha of general industrial and service industrial land. It is an important employment generator for this corridor. Planning for the estate was based on sustainability principles and included the development of a comprehensive Economic Development and Employment Generation Strategy and contemporary Design Guidelines.

Our Role

As the lead Town Planning and Design Consultant, TBB was instrumental in the delivery of (then) LandCorp’s vision through:

  • the preparation of the Structure Plan for the estate
  • detailed subdivision design
  • significant inputs into the preparation of the design guidelines
  • preparation of Local Development Plans

The Outcome

The Neerabup Industrial Area Structure Plan provided the planning framework necessary to ensure that the development of the area was balanced with meeting financial objectives, achieved high quality outcomes and recognising the various physical and environmental constraints of the location.
