Transforming an identified industrial expansion area in Maddington / Kenwick into a major transport and logistics precinct.
The Goal
Roe Highway Logistics Park, which represents Precinct 3A of the Maddington Kenwick Strategic Employment Area is accommodating approximately 70 hectares of industrial land. This development provides vitally important land for transport and logistics operators taking advantage of the close proximity to the Welshpool Industrial Area, Perth Airport Estate and Roe/Tonkin Highway.
Our Role
As the lead consultant for the past six years TBB has extensive insight and experience in the current market for industrial development and key issues presented to land developers operating in the industry.
TBB are the lead planning consultants, preparing the Structure Plan, Scheme Amendment, Subdivision Plans, Developer Contribution Plan, subdivision applications and development applications.
The Outcome
Roe Highway Logistics Park is Perth’s best-connected industrial estate with RAV7 & rail freight access. It’s also a leading sustainable industrial estate with a goal to become carbon neutral.
Since commencing, the project milestones include
- approval of the planning framework
- approval of subdivision and development
- delivery of upgraded industrial roads and a major intersection at Welshpool Road East / Grove Road
In May 2023 our Roe Highway Logistics Park team wrapped up the final major development application for the precinct with the unanimous JDAP approval of a c.21,000m2 warehouse facility.
This has been an outstanding project to work on over the past 8 years, with the approval of more than 250,000m2+ industrial floorspace across the 76Ha estate which will accommodate more than 3,000 employees on completion.
